My name is Patrick, and I live on the back of my coding ability. Santa brought me a Commodore 64 (with a floppy drive!) when I was just 10 years old, and I started typing in programs from the back of Compute!’s Gazette soon after. In high school and college I cut my teeth on Turbo Pascal, and ultimately faked my way into my first programming job, writing code in Visual Basic 4.
I worked my way through the UCF English degree program writing software, and have been doing it ever since. Twenty years later, I own a software consulting business (Burrows Technology) where we design critical software applications for businesses of all sizes. My passion is programming, and I love the constant learning needed be a great programmer.
Technology is always changing, there is always something new under the sun, and I can’t wait to find out what it is!
