Daniel Kaltenbaugh is a lifelong learner who is passionate about technology, instructing and student success. He is a Pennsylvania native and started his programming journey learning Basic before leaving for the United States Air Force Academy. Since then, he has traveled the world, amassing almost 3,000 flight hours and instructing pilot operations on three separate continents. During his Air Force career, Daniel is fortunate to have been involved in technological development as a coder, consultant and program manager.
His interest in advanced programming techniques led him to obtain a Master’s in Computer Information Systems, which he then applied to innovation and website design courses from both a development and presentation perspective. Since completing his Air Force career, Daniel has moved with his family to the greater Orlando area and is currently a small business owner specializing in website and software application development. His challenge to the students is to ‘get it,’ since he finds nothing more satisfying than helping people and seeing the light bulb come on whether it be from ‘Oh, that’s how you fly a great final approach’ to ‘Callbacks – that’s how they work!’
